FrameScope Viewfinder is a professional cinematography tool developed to help users visualize camera framing and lens behavior. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle user information.
Crop Factor is a Pro-Grade Lens to Sensor Crop Factor Simulator. It recreates how some lens' rear circle image affects the image in frame, a visible vignette at the corners of wide focal length is shown depending on lens and camera sensor mode selected.

Does not collect, store, or share any personal data.
We do not require user accounts, and we do not collect:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Location data
- Contacts
- Identifiers
- Usage analytics tied to individuals
All functionality is performed locally on the user's device.
2. Camera Usage
FrameScope Viewfinder:
Uses the device camera solely to provide a live preview for framing and composition simulation, similar to a traditional director's viewfinder.
- The camera feed is processed in real time only
- No images or videos are recorded unless explicitly initiated by the user
- No camera data is stored, transmitted, or shared
Crop Factor:
Does not use the camera. The image shown in the app is a mock CGI image which is only used as a guide image.
3. Photo Library Access
FrameScope Viewfinder:
If enabled, the app may request permission to:
- Save screenshots or frame previews to the user's photo library
This action is:
- User-initiated only
- Not automatic
- Not used for data collection
Crop Factor:
Does not access the photo library.
4. Data Sharing

- Does not use third-party analytics or tracking tools
- Does not transmit user data externally

Since no personal data is collected or stored, there is no risk of user data exposure through the app.
